“Just 40 minutes from the airport en route to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage & Kandy. We stayed here for the first couple of nights of our trip. The owner collected us on arrival and organised a driver for our onward journey. I recommend booking full board as the food was amazing. The rooms had a rustic charm. Upstairs had open bathrooms and were fan cooled with a mosquito net. Downstairs had tv's and air conditioning."
